Brunches & Barbeques
We are also supporting the summer schedule of brunches and barbeques by Gio’s Cares on the patio at Gio’s Club and bar:
- April 25: Brunch; Mr. and Ms. Gio’s Step Down
- May (depends on weather): opening of the patio barbeque
- May 23: Victoria Day Social barbeque
- June 4: Friday Pride Barbeque
- June 6: Post-Pride Parade Barbeque
- June TBA: Car Wash and Garage Sale barbeque
- July 1: Canada Day barbeque
Proceeds from these events will go to Gio’s Cares’ beneficiary organizations (Nine Circles Community Health Centre Food Bank and Emergency Assistance Fund, HIV ward at Health Sciences Centre, Kali Shiva AIDS Services, House of Hesed, Artemis Housing Co-op, Sage House). On-site sponsorship is also welcome for these events;
